Established in 2009 with the support of parliamentarians and operating within the framework of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance for Human Rights & Global Peace (IPAHP) is an international parliamentary platform dedicated to the advancement of human rights and the promotion of sustainable peacebuilding.
IPAHP is grounded in the principles of the universality and indivisibility of fundamental human rights and is committed to strengthening peace, stability and cooperation among states and regions. Through its work, the Alliance seeks to enhance intercultural relations as a foundation for global peace and the protection of human rights.
The Alliance is led by an international network of parliamentarians and supported by experts from the fields of politics, diplomacy and academia. It serves as a platform for parliamentary engagement and international cooperation, facilitating dialogue and exchange through conferences, academic programmes, research initiatives and policy-oriented activities in the fields of human rights and peacebuilding.
In addition, IPAHP contributes to efforts aimed at sustainable socio-economic development in under-resourced and developing regions through targeted initiatives designed to support inclusive growth and long-term stability.
