The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance for Human Rights & Global Peace (IPAHP) operates under the legal framework of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy. Established in 2009, IPAHP was founded to promote the universality of fundamental human rights and to strengthen intercultural relations among peoples and their communities.
Led by an international network of parliamentarians and supported by experts from politics, diplomacy, academia, and civil society, IPAHP engages in a wide range of initiatives. These include international conferences, academic programs, interdisciplinary research, and the promotion of diverse human rights and peace-building initiatives.
IPAHP is committed to the following core aims:
- Strengthening Intercultural Relations to Promote Global Peace and Stability - The Alliance fosters intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and trust across regions, nations, and cultural communities, with the overarching goal of achieving global peace and stability.
- Promoting the Universality of Fundamental Human Rights - IPAHP actively supports initiatives that monitor, advocate for, and advance human rights around the world.
- Advancing Socio-Economic Development in Developing Countries - Through targeted initiatives, the Alliance contributes to sustainable socio-economic development in under-resourced and developing regions globally.
